Questions about pricing
What happens after the beta?
We will announce pricing for the final release before the beta ends, and beta users will be told in good time. Your installation and your data stay on your own server either way.
Do I need a server?
For the self-hosted beta, yes: ordinary cPanel-style hosting with PHP and MariaDB/MySQL is enough. The guided web installer checks the server and sets up the database for you. If you would rather not run a server, join the waitlist for PolyOmi Cloud.
Can I move from self-hosted to the cloud later?
That is the plan. We intend to make it possible to move an existing installation to PolyOmi Cloud when it launches. We will share the details before then.
Is everything included in the beta?
Every module that is available today is included. Features marked as coming soon on the roadmap are not part of the beta yet.
Is the beta ready for my real bookkeeping?
PolyOmi 1.0 is built to meet the Danish Bookkeeping Act, but it is still a beta. As with any self-hosted system, you are responsible for backups and for meeting the requirements. Read more on Built for Denmark.
