Terms of use
For the website PolyOmi and the PolyOmi beta programme. Last updated 1 October 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the website PolyOmi and to your participation in the PolyOmi beta programme. Both are provided by https://sekvia.com ("we", "us").
These terms only cover the website and the beta programme. They are not a subscription agreement for a paid version of PolyOmi or for the coming PolyOmi Cloud. Separate terms will apply to those and will be published before launch.
By using the website or signing up for the beta, you accept these terms. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may accept the terms on its behalf.
2. Using the website
The content on the website is general information about PolyOmi. We work to keep it correct and up to date, but it may contain errors or be out of date.
Features marked as coming soon, planned or on the roadmap are plans, not promises. They may change, be delayed or be dropped, and you cannot base any claim on them.
You may not misuse the website, for example by trying to get unauthorised access, disrupting its operation, or sending spam through its forms.
3. Rights to content
The name PolyOmi, the logo, texts, screenshots and other content on the website belong to Sekvia or our licensors. You may link to the website and quote short passages with a source. Other copying or commercial use requires our written permission.
4. The beta programme
The beta programme gives you access to install and use the self-hosted version of PolyOmi in your own business while the beta runs. Participation is free during the beta. We decide who is admitted to the programme.
You may use PolyOmi for your own company's work, including with real data. You may not resell, sublicense or offer PolyOmi as a service to third parties without our written permission.
We may change the content of the beta, release new versions, and end the beta programme or your participation. If we end the beta programme, we will tell participants by e-mail. Pricing for use after the beta will be announced before launch.
5. Beta software is provided as is
PolyOmi is in closed beta. This means that the software may contain errors, that features may change or be removed, and that it may not work without interruption.
The software is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by Danish law, we give no warranty that the software is free of errors, fit for a particular purpose, or meets specific legal requirements in your business.
6. Your responsibility when you self-host
When you run PolyOmi on your own hosting, you are responsible for:
- your hosting, server, domain and HTTPS certificate, and for keeping them secure and up to date
- installing updates to PolyOmi
- taking backups and checking that they can be restored, including keeping copies outside the server
- who you give access to, and which permissions they have
- your data, including personal data. You are the data controller for the data in your installation, and we have no access to it unless you give it to us
- your bookkeeping, VAT, payroll and reporting complying with the rules that apply to you, including the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven). PolyOmi is a tool that supports this, but it does not replace your own review or advice from an accountant. Check important figures, such as VAT returns and payroll reports, before you submit them to the authorities.
7. Feedback
Feedback is the point of the beta, and we appreciate everything you send us. You give us the right to use your feedback, ideas and suggestions freely to develop PolyOmi, without payment and without naming you.
Please do not send us personal data about your employees, customers or others in your feedback, for example in screenshots or exported files, unless we have agreed on it first.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Danish law, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as operating losses, lost profit, lost data or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the website or the beta software. Nor are we liable for losses caused by errors in the beta software, your hosting, or missing backups.
This limitation does not apply to losses caused by our gross negligence or intent, or where liability cannot otherwise be limited under Danish law.
9. Ending your participation
You can stop using PolyOmi and leave the beta at any time by writing to info@polyomi.com. Your data stays in your own installation, and you can export your books, for example as SAF-T, before you stop.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If we make significant changes to the beta terms, we will tell beta participants by e-mail.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute that cannot be solved by talking together is decided by the Danish courts, at the district court where Sekvia has its registered office.
