Fewer files, more direct connections

Today you import bank statements, e-invoice files and eIndkomst figures by hand. We are building direct connections so the data flows by itself. These connections are not available yet, and they are next on the roadmap.

Planned

The connections we are building

  • Direct bank connection Next

Bank transactions fetched automatically instead of imported from a file, ready for reconciliation.

  • Peppol network Next

Send and receive e-invoices directly over the Peppol network, without handling XML files yourself.

  • Direct eIndkomst reporting Next

Report payroll to the Danish tax authority straight from the approved pay run.

  • CVR lookup

Type a CVR number and get the company's name and address filled in for clients and suppliers. We also keep an eye on the status of the company and you can be notified if there is any change.

What works today

The manual route already works

Every one of these connections replaces a step that PolyOmi already handles with a file or a form. You can run your Danish books today, and the connections will remove the manual steps.

  • Bank: import statements as CSV or CAMT.053 and reconcile them.
  • Invoicing: create invoices and credit notes as OIOUBL 2.1 and Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 XML.
  • Purchases: import OIOUBL or Peppol invoices, and upload receipts in bulk to the voucher inbox.
  • Payroll: a field-by-field eIndkomst summary per employee and month.

Vouchers by e-mail is already available. Forward receipts and bills to an address, and they land in the voucher inbox. Read more about e-mail in the ticket system.

Questions about the connections

Can I use PolyOmi for Danish bookkeeping without these connections?

Yes. Bookkeeping, VAT, bank reconciliation, e-invoicing and payroll all work today. The connections save manual steps; they are not required to keep compliant books.

Which banks will be supported?

We have not published a list yet. The goal is to cover the banks Danish companies use most. Tell us which bank you use when you join the waiting list.

Can I send e-invoices to public customers today?

PolyOmi creates valid OIOUBL 2.1 and Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 files today, which you can deliver through your current access point. Sending directly over the network is what is coming.
